In this class we teach you how to shape behaviour with your dogs. We practice applying different learning principles to build the foundations of the behaviours we need our dogs to know for a well-rounded obedience program. You will learn about the learning pyramid and how to diagnose where you are in the pyramid and how to progress or go back to clean things up. There will be certain criteria the dogs will need to accomplish before moving on to the next level. Our system of training focusses heavily on the art of free shaping which is where the dog learns to be a problem solver and to find success in the job we are working on. This style of training creates an open mind and a dog that can adapt to challenges thrown at it.
